Hand painted natural silk courses and workshops

The Art in Silk workshop is the workspace and elaboration. This is where the Anna Albert Creations are designed, experienced and born.

Any work arises from an idea or a haunut. From there, a design is made and the way to go is plotted. Knowledge of the techniques and the fabric are basic to accomplish the objective. The Art of painting on silk requires this knowledge to be done with the techniques that, in addition to the artist’s ability and creativity, opens up a world full of possibilities.

The Workshop is located in the town of El Masnou, in the Maresme region (Barcelona). We Make two crafts team that tune with the same project, Gemma Vilalta and myself. It is a great pleasure for me to be able to share my work with a sensitive and expert like Gemma.

Since the year 2009 the Taller has also taught the printing practices of some students at the School of Arts and Crafts of the Llotja in Barcelona.
