This natural silk fan with autumn leaves and pear wood is inspired by autumn and the falling leaves<\/strong> of the banana trees that invade the streets. It was born specifically from a time when I often walked along the Riera de Arenys de Munt<\/strong>, in the Maresme (Barcelona), a sandy stream full of these trees on both sides.<\/p>\n

The fan is an increasingly popular accessory. It is no longer the exclusive preserve of mature women and more and more young girls and men are using it as an accessory.<\/p>\n

It is also a practical object to fan ourselves in hot weather, but it is also a decorative and collector’s item.<\/p>\n

Moreover, it has become a typical gift for the foreign public given our cultural tradition that comes to us from 18th century Asia.<\/p>\n

This natural silk fan with autumn leaves is made of pear wood, very appreciated for its quality.<\/p>\n

What’s more, this wood is strong and light, it is not heavy and opens and closes very well.<\/p>\n

Such a fan is a laborious task. First the silk is hand-painted, the colour is fixed at high temperature, washed, starched in order to pleat and assemble the rods. And everything is handmade.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
